A vital initiative designed to reconnect and strengthen relationships with key travel trade professionals and media representatives in China.
Visit California’s China Trade & Media Mission is a vital initiative designed to reconnect and strengthen relationships with key travel trade professionals and media representatives in China, one of California’s most important international markets. Building on the success of the 2024 in-market mission to China, this program offers California industry partners the opportunity to engage directly with a wide range of local partners, including leading tour operators, senior-level product managers, both traditional and digital media outlets and top media from the tier-1 cities.
The 2025 mission will take place in Guangzhou and Chengdu — two strategically important markets with strong outbound travel potential and growing demand for premium international experiences. Through a curated series of one-on-one business appointments, educational sessions, and networking events, delegates can share updates on the California destination, explore evolving consumer trends, and collaboratively review market insights. Participants are selected based on business objectives to ensure a well-rounded delegation best positioned to benefit from the mission.
Taipei sales day
Visit California will also be hosting an add-on sales day in Taipei, pending interest. At least five California partners will need to register in order to move forward with the additional day. This sales day will focus on product training and destination education, providing a targeted platform to engage with Taiwan-based travel trade representatives.
Note: The public relations track and Tapei sales days are subject to level of interest.
